Description

This mine is about 7 inches long, 5 1/2 inches wide, and 4 inches high. It is partitioned and holds a 400-gram block of TNT, an electric detonating circuit with a flashlight battery, an EKhP electro-chemical safety-delay fuze, and a VZ-1 vibration contact fuze wired to an electric detonator. The VZ-1 fuze is fastened under the lid of the mine. In functioning and employment this mine is similar to the MZD-2 mine.
