Description
This is a percussion primed cartridge incorporating a fragmentation, high explosive incendiary projectile with a setback and centrifugally armed, impact and impact inertia fired, graze sensitive, point detonating fuze.
The tip of the fuze is red. The remainder of the cartridge is unpainted. The fuze has its nomenclature and manufacturing information stamped in the body. Factory markings are embossed on the base of the cartridge case.
