Description

These are nonmetallic, caseless, antitank (AT) landmines with pressure fuzes. The practice landmine is a nonexplosive version of the service mine and contains a smoke charge.

The mines are all similar, differing only in size and weight. The Mi 101 and Mi 102 have secondary fuze wells on the side and bottom for antidisturbance devices. The Mi 103 (M 5) does not have secondary fuze wells, but can be emplaced with antiremoval or anitilift devices. At one time the Mi 102 and Mi 103 were offered in square versions measuring 254 millimeters (10.00 inches) and 295 millimeters (11.61 inches), respectively.
