Description
The T/79 is a small, circular antipersonnel mine which was designed for air scatterable delivery or can be hand emplaced. Since the mine is blast resistant, it will defeat most explosive line charges and fuel air explosives. The T/79 antipersonnel mine, produced in Egypt, is a copy of the Italian VS-50. The main difference is that the Egyptian explosive filler contains TNT, rather than RDX.
The mine is a khaki yellow color.
