Description

These are air launched, free fall dispensers, which employ a mechanical time fuze. They contain antimaterial/antipersonnel bombs.

The dispensers are painted white with a yellow band on the forward end of the dispenser. Identifying nomenclature is stenciled in yellow on the side of the dispenser. A Mk 7 Mod 3 dispenser containing explosive loaded BLU-77/B bombs is also marked with a black lightning bolt painted on each side of the dispenser. Dispensers which are completely inert, including the payload, are painted bronze. There are no color bands. Identifying nomenclature is stenciled in black. Dispensers which have a live dispenser fuze, flexilinear shaped charges (FLSCs), and are loaded with either inert bombs or inert bombs with live fuzes, are painted white. One blue and one brown band are on the forward end of the dispenser. Identifying nomenclature is stenciled in yellow.
