Description
The 25mm M919 is an armor-piercing, fin-stabilizing, discarding sabot with tracer (APFSDS-T) cartridge. The cartridge has a steel case crimped to a projectile assembly. The projectile assembly consists of a depleted uranium penetrator, steel fin, nylon obturator, aluminum windscreen, aluminum sabot, plastic nose cap, and tracer pellets. The steel cartridge case contains a percussion primer, flash tube, and propellant.
