Description
The 25mm M791 is an armor-piercing, discarding-sabot with tracer (APDS-T) cartridge. The cartridge has a steel case crimped to a projectile assembly. The projectile assembly consists of a tungsten penetrator, aluminum windscreen, aluminum base, nylon sabot, plastic nose cap, and tracer pellets. The steel cartridge case contains a percussion primer, booster pellet, and propellant.
