Description

The detonator safe, delay armed tail fuze of this type is vane operated and arms after 1,100 feet of air travel. It functions upon impact through two independent trains of 0.08 second delay. This fuze is used in conjunction with armor piercing bombs to allow penetration of the target before detonation.
