
This signal was intended for use as an emergency signal.
The signal is composed of an aluminum cylinder, one end of which contains a primer and the other a cork plug. The pyrotechnic composition is located below the cork plug.
The firing pin of the Pyrotechnic Discharger M10 strikes the primer, and the signal star is projected to the altitude of 200 feet.
