Description
The M57 warhead consists of an inner, and an outer shell. The inner shell contains Composition B. Spherical steel fragments are contained in a plastic matrix between the inner and outer shell. The inner and outer shells are interconnected by a steel end plate. A closing plate which fits into the recessed center of the end plate contains the adapter booster.
