Description
This is a gun fired, separate loaded, spin stabilized, illuminating (ILLUM) projectile containing a base ejected, parachute suspended, illuminant charge.
The projectile is painted light gray or white except for the rotating band and bourrelets, which are unpainted, or gray overall with a white band below the forward bourrelet. Markings are stenciled in black on the projectile body.
