Description
The case of this fuze is made of plastic and strengthened with vertical ribs. The threaded lower part is smaller in diameter than the main part. The plunger is supported and held in place by a shear collar. The cone-shaped end of the plunger fits into a mating sleeve charged with a friction compound.
This unit is designed for detonating the Model 1948 antipersonnel mine.
