
This pistol consists of a body containing a simple inertia-type striker resting on a creep spring. The pistol body is hexagonal, and in each side, approximately ’ •> in. from the top, is a hole for the insertion of a safety pin.
The inside of the body is round, and accommodates a square striker, which is rounded at the lop to receive the safety clip. The creep spring is attached to the firing pin. The lower end of the pistol body is threaded to go into the smoke float.
This pistol is replacing the Fuze No. 844 for use in the Smoke Float No. 2.
