Description
Same as Fuze M530 except 90° rotor travel instead of 270° and higher G creep spring on graze plunger.
The XM559 fuze had a graze-creep spring too weak to resist functioning on impact with 1/8" plywood targets. This spring was redesigned to withstand 170 g and the fuze was designated XM559E1.
