Description
Fuze M57 is a single action superquick type of the same size, shape, and weight as fuze M48A3 or M51A5 without booster. It is essentially the same as fuze M48A3 without a delay element. Fuze M57 is used primarily with 75mm smoke cartridge, and in conjunction with booster M22 in 105mm smoke cartridge. As booster M22 has no interrupter, the combination of fuze M57 and booster M22 is not considered as falling strictly within the definition of boresafe.
