
These are high-explosive (blast), pressure-actuated, nonmetallic, antitank (AT) landmines. The RO-1 is a pull/pressure-actuated fuze. The RO-7-II is a pressure-actuated fuze. The RO-7-III is a pressure-actuated/antiremoval fuze. Each mine may contain either two of each fuze, or a combination of these fuzes. In addition, the mine may incorporate a wire mousetrap boobytrap device that detonates the mine if the pressure block is lifted.
The mines are unpainted, or painted gray, olive drab, or green, and are stenciled in black. The RO-1 and the RO-7-II fuzes are black plastic. The RO-7-III fuze is brown plastic. The RO-1 striker is marked 51 a V11.
