Description
This mine consists of a marbleized plastic case, a black rubber-covered aluminum pressure plate, a main charge, a detonator, and a pneumatic fuze. The fuze has an air-compression chamber, a piston block, a piston, a piston retarding spring, and a firing pin. This fuze prevents actuation by explosive forces of short duration.
This mine may be laid in antipersonnel minefields and in antitank minefields to hinder clearing operations.
