Description
This blast type mine has a plastic case and resembles the US M25 antipersonnel mine. It has a shaped charge, ball and sleeve firing mechanism and a pointed body shape for rapid implacement. The “Doris" unlike the US M25 is emplaced as a complete unit, then armed. The mine is not detectable with magnetic mine detectors, but a removable aluminum detector ring is fitted so that the mine can be laid in a detectable condition. The mine is waterproof.
