Description

This is a fragmentation (frag), antipersonnel (APERS) hand grenade. The grenade is olive drab. The body of the grenade has raised markings. The fuze body is olive drab with raised markings. The safety lever is green with raised markings. The safety lever, pull ring, and safety pin are steel. The remainder of the grenade is plastic.

Textured plastic body with four circumferential ribs. Approximately 3500 steel pellets with diameters ranging from 2.5 to 3mm are embedded in a plastic liner. Plastic fuze body.

Functioning

Striker release fuze.
