Description
These are percussion primed cartridges for automatic cannons. The M792 incorporates a high explosive incendiary with tracer projectile with a centrifugally and setback armed, graze sensitive, point detonating self destroying fuze which has a cocked detonator, spin decay, self destroying feature.
The projectiles are yellow with a red band and black stenciled identification markings. The fuzes are unpainted with identification markings stamped or stenciled on the body. The cartridge cases are olive drab with black stenciled identification and manufacturing information.
