Description
Different fuzes can be used according to the type of target. The bomb was developed to be released at low altitudes but it is highly versatile and can be transformed into a free-fall bomb and can be fitted with many different fuzes designed for different purposes. The nose can be supplied with an adapter that allows fuzes provided with 2 and 3.5 inch threads to be fitted. If the parachute does not deploy properly, the fuze will not function and the bomb will not explode. Transverse fuzing is used with this bomb.
